Booking: Please, just shoot me a message. I really don’t care if it is just the words…”I’m interested, what are your Ideas?” If you leave an acknowledgement/comment, I don’t know if it is serious or not. I am not going to chase you down!

Missing appointments: Not following through with an appointment, not showing up, and not calling if you need to cancel will result in removal from my phone contacts and list of clients. I don’t expect you to make me a priority, so don’t expect me to make you one either. We have a set date and time. Don’t call 2 hours later and say “oops, I’m sorry I missed it”. What is the old saying …”shame on me?”

Visiting Studio: You are more than welcome to visit the studio at any time and ask any question you like. If you would like to visit me while a shoot is going on, I will arrange it with the client that I’m shooting. Don’t just drop by and expect to sit in and bug me or the client to death.

Skills and software: I have a certain style that I shoot with and a certain way I do all my editing. So, please don’t ask me what software, etc. that I use. If you want to learn, ask me about teaching you. I will not show you my personal style but I will help you develop your own style. Last but not least, this will not be Free. If you would like to learn, I’m willing to teach you for a set amount. Don’t expect me to do it for free or a hookup. There is nothing that you can offer that I need.

Rates: My rates are standard and reasonable. If for some reason you can’t pay them, please make an offer. I tend to be pretty flexible and open to negotiation.

TF/TFP: I’m not doing TF/TFP work right now, especially if I am traveling. Please, save yourself the time and aggravation.

Travel: I am based out of Huntsville, AL. I cannot backtrack while on a road trip. I cannot stay in hotels and on the road indefinitely. If you do not reside in Alabama then take it for granted that the only shoot I have booked in your town is with you and only you. That is right; I am coming to your town just to shoot with you! You are that special to me! Am I that special to you? That also means that after our very special shoot I may have another shoot, just as special, scheduled several hours away from you with no reasonable detour bringing me anywhere near your location again anytime soon. It takes a lot of time, effort and forethought for me to plan my trips with minimal wasted travel and expense before I even walk out of my door. I require time to set up equipment…please don’t rush this. Once things are set up right then I will be ready to shoot. I expect the same of everyone I book with.

Equipment: This is your shoot! What are you trying to accomplish? I have an extensive knowledge of various poses and theory of pulling off your ideas ranging from naughty to nice. What I do not have is psychic ability. Please provide me some real guidance on your wardrobe and ideas beforehand. If shooting outside the studio, you must provide the location and some type of idea of what you are trying to do since I will have to pack up and haul my equipment to your location. If I need to do some shopping for you, within reason, then I happily will. You are my clientele and I do my best to make you happy or we both suffer. Understand I cannot meet your needs unless you take the time to think about what you are looking for and then communicate your ideas to me.

References: Check my references! I encourage you to contact them. If you have any questions or concerns about the way I work please contact any of the people I have worked with. Feel free to contact anyone whose work is featured in my portfolio. If you need any additional contact information, I will be more than happy to provide it. Whatever it takes to assure you that I am who I present myself to be and will perform as I advertise. I will not give out anyone’s phone number or address. I will however arrange a phone call between you and that person (three-way.)

Payment: I accept cash and only cash. No money orders, smooth talk, business checks, hugs, personal checks, dry goods, tanned hides or sob stories. When we part ways you have your images in your hand and it is only fair that I have your cash in mine. No, I do not want to ride with you to the bank. No, I do not want to find your bank and hope the check clears. Please have the previously agreed upon amount ready at the time we shoot – in cash.

Escort: I always ask that you bring an escort with you to all photo shoots. If you are contacted by any photographer and he says “no escort”… well then I would just stay home that day. I think of everyone’s safety first. My credits list indicates how many shoots that I have attended or held without incident or complaint. If you’re concerned, contact my references. If you need a hand on set you are welcome to ask me or your escort for help but please do not make any assumptions. Your escort is not the director of the photo shoot. I expect the person to respect my privacy while I’m shooting. I would like all communication between the model and me to stay that way… He/she does not double as your boss or my boss. I expect the person to stay out of your way and mine. If I require assistance, I will bring someone with me to help me with my set up and so on.

Content: I will shoot what I am comfortable with and what we have discussed. What content I agree to while planning cannot evolve into something different and more explicit later on without discussion. “Taking pictures around a farm” cannot evolve into “taking pictures with aroused farm animals”. “Pictures in uniform” cannot evolve into “pictures in Nazi uniform with a giant swastika behind me”. Do not put me in the position where I must immediately decide between my principles and my business. It is dishonest and unprofessional and the primary reason we discuss the shoot beforehand. I will not shoot content that could jeopardize my friendships and future business or be viewed as espousing hate, prejudice or violence against a race or religion.
